Abstracts
Abstract submission for the 2nd Peritoneal Summit will open in spring 2027, with a submission deadline of 15 June 2027. Decisions will be communicated in early July 2027. The submission portal and abstract template will be announced here closer to the time.
What we will be looking for
The Summit welcomes contributions across the full breadth of peritoneal research and technology, including but not limited to:
- Peritoneal immunity and tissue repair
- Peritoneal carcinomatosis, metastasis, and surgical oncology
- Endometriosis and peritoneal pathology
- Peritoneal dialysis, fibrosis, and mesothelial-to-mesenchymal transition
- Imaging, single-cell, and spatial methods
- Biomaterials, surgical mesh, and adhesion prevention
- Translational and clinical studies
Format
The 2025 edition included oral presentations selected from submitted abstracts, a flash-talk session, and a poster session. We anticipate a similar format for 2027.
Awards
Best-poster and best-talk awards will be granted, as they were at the 2025 Summit. Details will follow with the call for abstracts.
